We know one thing for sure about Sunday night’s Academy Awards: someone will take the stage and, for eight or ten minutes, deliver a string of one-liners. He or she will prick Hollywood excess, genuflect to such actors as Meryl Streep, and deliver a few zingers pegged to the Best Picture nominees. So why not live this experience without flying to LA?
