Digital Nomads Moldova Meetup #6

PreviewImage

It is always said that digital nomads have a wanderlust lifestyle and roam free around the world, living and working in marvelous places and classy cities. Sounds like some kind of dream, isn’t it?

Digital nomads are location independent and use technology to perform their job. Otherwise explained, digital nomads work remotely.

But how easy is to break one’s 9-to-5 office presence? On 20th of February we invite you to listen to nomad’s experience of living and travelling in foreign countries.

Be ready to get answers to questions like why to become a digital nomad, how to research and plan your work and travel, and listen to success stories.

Speakers:

David Rose is an American multi-genre author. Published works include No Joy and the award-winning From Sand and Time: Poems.

Ranging from op-eds to speculative fiction, Rose pulls from both his military and philosophy background.

Florida-raised, London-educated; he marauds the world, balancing a hefty dose of misanthropy with a growing love for (most) people.

His debut dark fantasy work, Mulgara: The Necromancer’s Will, hits shelves this May.

Tereza Sacha is a Czech and business development professional. Since graduation in London, she has worked mostly with tech startups, VCs and consulting firms on large digitalisation projects, in Europe, USA and Latin America. She is here in Moldova for 1 year, working for the United Nations Business Innovation Lab.

Tereza moves around a lot, trying to combine work with travel and hoping to be 100% remote one day. Exactly a year ago, Tereza started testing waters as a freelancer, working on small and large gigs via different platforms, pushing her way to become digital nomad one day.

She is happy to share some tips, but also learn from you who are digital nomads or those who are on the same track as her.
